get a childrens book published

I have half written at least three books but never finished them, I know I have the capability to do this. I often read to my daughter and wonder how some books ever got past the editor (I can only assume they are the editor’s wife). I have another idea which yet again has fallen by the wayside. I often write reports at work which can be up to ten pages long – why can’t I get these bloody books finished?

I had the idea about a year ago. It came from one simple drawing. From that, I spouted a whole story in about an hour. It was so simple, I would be foolish NOT to do it. I just recently finished the FINAL drawings and scanned them in. I just need to type up the story (which is already hand written) and get it published.
