i want to be a cartoon

need to do some daydreaming/doodling on these to figure out the characters better

I’m determined to cheat at all costs by
tracing photos for practice, and
taking posed photos to emulate the panels,
any other ideas?

i’m working on a story and i’d like to draw it myself but i don’t think i could do it the way i visualize it yet, my skills are still more in the realm of cartooning (which i’ve been doing since i was a kid) rather than the comic book point which i want to get to which is half way between representation and cartoon…there really aren’t a lot of places that seem to teach this.

I have the ideas. I see the pictures in my head. I can write the captions!

Now, if only I could actually draw. makes dizzy eyes
