I live in Dubai. People who skateboad here are a minority! I always loved skateboardin but this town just lacks the people and the places! What to do? Plus, I think I am too old to skateboard now, am 20! Wish I practiced 6 years back!

I dont usually get a chance to go out alot and skateboard around.. I can’t do any tricks or anything yet.. but as far as just skateboarding.. I went down a quarter mile decline road and got reaaally fast and just kept my balance and it was alllll gravy… lol.. that cheap ass board was wobbling like a bitch.. but I kept it together.
I went down a reeally steep ass incline bike ramp too.. my homie thought I wasn’t gonna be able to.. I did it like 4 times.. hehehe on video too!

Ever so slightly scared. I just get the feeling that everyone hates skateboarders and thinks they’re dangerous.
I want to use it to get around town but i don’t want to break anyone’s ankle!

My brother got me a skateboard for Christmas so we could skate together and I’ve been at college. I want him to teach me so that we can have something to do together, a bonding experience, if you will, and also so that I can get around campus a little faster than walking.
Cool Skate Park in Edinburgh. — 1 month ago
At last, Edinburgh has a cool skate park. And a real one too! I desided to go there and cheack it out and I loved it. One of the guyes who worked there was so nice, and he showed me how to skate better. I learn a few new things, it was great! I’m gonna go back on day soon and skate some more.

It's been ages since I updated, now I'm learning to skateboard... — 1 month ago
I’m finally going snowboarding again this year, but I wanted to get some practice in before I went, instead of feeling like I was relearning each time I went.
I got a skateboard and I’m learning slowly. Concrete is so much more unforgiving than snow. I’ve already bruised my knees and grazed my elbows, and my girlfriend fractured her arm on my skateboard. I can skate around a little and turn. (I also dinted a cupboard in the garage trying to ollie – I think I was a bit too ambitious.)
