I’m 22 and I hope to achieve this in several ways: (1) Business, (2) Property, and (3) Other Investments. I think I have an advantage in being at the age I’m at. I’m probably more willing than most to take higher (but calculated) risks. My main hurdle is lack of capital but I’ll beg and borrow to success… I have read up on a lot and now getting to the stage where I want to take massive action now!

I like to use I AM instead of I will because of all that “law of attraction” stuff. So, I made a commitment to be a millionaire by 30. I decided on this because A. I’m tired of price tags being a deciding factor in buying something and B. I want to do the things I enjoy and not have to worry about money period.
i don’t care if im not a millionare by 30. but if i am, i’ll let you know. :)
To be honest, the number £1,000,000 means little to me. I couldn’t care less how much money I had. Unfortunately, the things I want to do in life cost money and added together, the total cost of everything is at LEAST 1 million (it will probably be more in a few decades time). I’m just into my 20’s and had an amazing time very early on in life, so I don’t mind giving up a few years now so that I can continue to live well in the future. I don’t think money should make the world go round, but that’s the way it works and it doesn’t look as though things are going to change any time soon. So the best of luck to everyone joining me on this quest and to everyone else, I hope you are content, healthy and happy! : )
I’m giving up on this because it isn’t something I want anymore. I have a great job that is helping me earn more money each year. But somehow I don’t want to be a millionaire anymore. I want to have sufficient money to be happy and do what I want and that’s all. Looking back I’m not sure if this was really something I wanted anyway.
Bohoangel is thinking this going to be my year
This goal was never achievable unless I won the lottery on something so I’m going to replace it with something I can actually achieve.
Hmm, I better start working on this goal, I have less than 6 years more and I don’t have a plan. I know I can do this but I just need to spend more time thinking about this and figuring out a plan of action. I think I’m going to include this in my CV.
I have had this goal just floating here on the list with some reasonable goals and some goals aimed towards self-improvement. As of right now, I have no plan for how to hit this goal and I’ve got only 5 years to do it. My current job isn’t going to get me there by itself, so I need to find an aggressive way to bring in some bucks if I’m going to reach this. Any ideas?
I’m 29, and I have acheived this particular milestone in my financial journey. Though a million bucks ain’t what it used to be, there are obviously advantages to starting off so young with such a cushion. It gives more freedom to live a little more freely through the rest of your life.
But there are trade-offs to face. Prepare to lose your 20s, probably the time you should be enjoying yourself to the fullest, to work. Prepare to live frugally. Prepare to spend lots of time managing your investments.
Best of luck to you all!
