Long for life!!

My nails have been long for over 10 years. My nails are approx 4inches long give or take a couple broken ones they are about 2 1/2 – 3 inches. They are apart of me and I couldn’t even imagine life without them.

How I did it: Well, I started waitressing and I became really conscious of people looking at my nails. I wore really foul tasting polish that reminded me when I bit my nails. Now they're a nice length and I've spent a fortune buying nail polish! Im so proud!
Lessons & tips: Buy a special polish that tastes awful to remind you when you bit your nails.

Haven’t had long fingernails in ages in preparation for playing the guitar. One guitar teacher suggested I cut the fingernails I hold the stem of the guitar with and let my fingers I use to strum grow wild and free. Like he had them. I decided against that. When I was younger I always had long nails, one friend said when she first saw me ripping up paper in our first class together with my long nails she thought I was a witch. Strange. Anyways I kinda miss them but they go all flaky anyway so probably not a good idea. And one day I will get round to that guitar , so it always pays to be prepared, as the scouts say.
