I’m going to London, UK next week.
I’m planning to buy a scratch record (vinyl record containing lots of various sounds good for scratching on my turntable).
Can you guys suggest a record shop selling used/cheap records?

Definitely worth doing if you want to improve the variety of your mixes, and essential if you spin hiphop. I spin house, but scratching adds some nice flavor to the mix if done properly. One thing you definitely need is a quality mixer with good faders… I use a Rane TTM-54i which has amazing faders and great sound quality!

This is just an idle dream because I love hip hop scratching so much but I’m not prepared to spend any money on it at present. It’s a tough skill to master and there are other musical goals I’d like to focus on right now.
Maybe in gangsta heaven…
