Having read somewhere that you shouldn’t replant a morning glory, well no actually. Mine are doing very very well. I got a large container with drainage and plonked them in a sunny spot in the middle of the back of the terrace. They couldn’t be happier and are thriving.
Quite a few of tomato plants lived and are just ready for transplanting. I am hoping to do this over the weekend. As far more lived than expected, I’ll be passing some along to my mother and a friend. Even the coriander survived.
So far I now have 5 pots of flowers and more left over, so passing on to friends etc.

Transplanted to a container, and put into my greenhouse to settle in. Was worried about how they would respond, but they are actually quite happy. I need to decide now where to put them as there are a few places in the terrace could do with climbers.

Really need to decide what containers to use and where to put them.
I have a few small pots and as they are climbers might look well on the edges of the terrace. I might try one or two pots where I cut back the weeds last month.

This is something I want to do but just isn’t immediate or urgent. I hope to grow some herbs, and I’ll probably feel more like it this summer. Right now my cats, my husband, and my fish take up enough of my attention!

My parents are big garden people, and have great flowers and trees. I love the look of flowers but can’t seem to get them to stay alive. However, I’m dying to grow my own herbs and vegetables. I feel like I’m in a place in my life where I’ll have the patience, determination, and time to nurture a garden. Unfortunately it’s almost fall in Iowa… we’ll have to start small.

My parents have lots of plants back at home. Bonsai, actually. Guess a little plant can enlighten my life here too! It can be a small maple, bamboo, or pine tree.
