scan old family photos

Started scanning my mother’s old family photos this past weekend. I’m going to try to go through all her albums while she is on vacation. This way she’ll never know I’m doing a special scrapbook album for her!

I got a scanner for Christmas so now I need to get started on this. I need to get my mother’s old family albums and start scanning! This is very important to me because she has pics of my father who died when I was three years old and my sister who died when she was just sixteen. I don’t have any pictures of my own of either of them. I will plan to get started on this in the next few months.

Today I scanned all old pics that I wanted copies of from my aunt’s albums. I took a lot of time, but I’m so glad I did it.

My mom sorted her photos and sent me 1/3 of them. She wasn’t really into photographs, so i’m surprised that this many survived her cleaning rampages. I’d like to eventually get the other ones from my brothers, scan them, and then share all of them.
