I can see all obstacles in my way.
For one thing, our friends came over last night . . . and their son puked on our bed. I’ve spent a large part of today cleaning up after it. Amazing how much laundry was soiled. I hope I don’t get the pukes at my first day on my new job. That would be embarrassing. Also, it’s supposed to rain tomorrow and I can’t find my galoshes. Argh!

Last day at my current job is tomorrow

Gonna get up early. They’re taking me out to lunch. After tomorrow, no more 1.5 hour commutes (each way).
It’s a good company and I’ll miss the adulation I get when I tell people I fight spam for a living.
But I’m totally excited to get started at this new job. We have big plans—it’ll be fun.

I start a new job on Monday, November 13th. I’m totally excited about this. Shorter commute, great working conditions, and lots of new technology to work on.
