we’re stopping at 6 places in Norway altogether over a period of 2 weeks- Alesund, Flam, Oslo, Kristiansand and I’m not sure of the other two. Really excited!! (EDIT: Stavenger and Olden.) Though heard that like Sweden, the price of things out there is expensive. If you’ve been to Norway before, what are your experiences of it? What are the ‘must-see’s?’ 3 months ago

We flew to Bergen, where we stayed one day (beautiful old town!)
- then we took the Hurtigroute to Trondheim (a very peaceful and quiet way to travel, except when they wake you up at 6 to see whales!)
- we stayed one day at trondheim and travelled via car to Geiranger (via the Trollstign)
- and we spent a few days in Geiranger (exceptionally beautiful fjord!).
- We drove on to Kvitfjell and Lillehammer and on to Oslo.
-There we spent the remaining few days sightseeing and enjoying the wonderful city :)
It was a wonderful journey and we really enjoyed seeing a good part of Norway – though of course there is much more! 16 months ago
