I set up my credit card statements to be emailed and ended the paper statements that come from the bank and credit card companies. I like having that much less paper in my files. :)
Why does anyone still go to the bank?
I can pay all my bills in my underwear now!

When I started a new job in late 2004, I had to switch banks. My new bank offered free online bill payment, so I signed up for it. This procedure has saved me SO many hours each month.
significantly. I keep all the due dates down, and the amount owed and stuff.
I mean, I didn’t send a single check out last month, and don’t really intend to, but I thought I could just pay when the due date came, and two of my bills were late because they contacted my bank and had them mail a check and it took a week to finally clear that check. You have to send them early online too.
I signed up today and yesterday with all the companies who normally send paper bills. I am only waiting for the mortgage and the water bill to be confirmed as signed up.
I also started a pretty spread sheet to keep track of when and how much I am paying out. If I pay all the bills online next month, I can assume that I will continue because I much prefer to do things online than on paper. It was just hard to get it switched over.
