learn to speak icelandic

My grandparents are icelandic and I’ve always wanted to learn the language! And visit Iceland!

i was looking around and i wanted to learn some new languages

...did some more of the readings in my coursebook and re-read my previous lessons, I want to be in the position where, when i pick it up intensely, i won’t be starting totally from scratch. and i got that feeling when i went back: i was gratified to not feel lost in the material.

Hvaðan ert þú? Hert förum við?

translating to;
where are you from? where are you going?

pronounced;
haav-than errt thuu? Herrt fihr-ihm fith?

I often ask myself this, (but only in Icelandic).

Tried once, didnt work out so well, but hey. Never say die.
