How I did it: I was really exhaisted at the time so I can't say for sure, but I think it involved throwing my arms up in the air, shouting the words "F**k it" and giving my desk the middle finger before storming out.

Lessons & tips: Never ever amend a working contract to in a way that prevents management from having all the resources needed to complete a job i.e. mandatory overtime.

Resources: the 10 hours of sleep that immediately followed.

    Long Day 6 months ago

    So I got to work last night at about 9 pm, and here it is about 11:30 am and I’m still here, and worse yet I still have a bunch of stuff to get done before I leave. Fortunatley I’m still feeling pretty awake, but I know it won’t be long before things start getting kind of swimmy in my head so I really need to finish up and get the hell out of here.

    Leaving work was probably the best move I have ever made…. The worst will probably be going back tommorrow, but then I will get to leave again! That makes it all worth it!
