My neighbor invited my fiance to go riding, and I’m going too. I’m looking forward to it. I’ve not ridden in ages!

and I really don’t want to ride her, but I should be working her so she gets some exercise and so we continue to stay bonded in a good way. Also, we bought a paint mare a few months ago who is a real beauty, but I’ve worked her so little that she and I don’t really know each other. I need to do this, work her—not to mention my little gelding. He likes to act crazy when we do groundwork, but when I ride him he is a gentleman. Maybe after work today I’ll do some groundwork with at least two, instead of sit in front of the TV becoming more braindead.

I own my own horses, and bless them, they dont get enough work from me! Im not around long enough to keep them in any real work, so i just have to do it when i can as much as i can! And today I DID! it was so so awesome to get out there on the horse! She was so good to me, she didnt carry on at all. We did have a mission and i think that really helped her forget that she might like to buck me off! Tomorrow i will try to take the other one out and see what happens! I love it.

a couple days ago and it was so much fun. I can tell my body got a good workout. I want to ride at least once this weekend. Riding at least once a week will help me tone up!

That’s actually what the reality is. Her legs are much less stiff now – in fact, she had hardly any stiffness at all this a.m.! We’re having fun walking together, followed by a pack of dogs and cats.

My mare is pregnant, and her forelegs are getting stiff. I need to find out if this has to do with her pregnancy. She stands around too much in her corral, too. This a.m. before work, she and I walked together (with dogs and cats following us the whole time) for a mile. By the end of the mile, she was walking normally. I’m going to do this every day if I can – if not in the a.m. before work, then in the p.m. when I get home. She was more cheerful at the end too.
I have confidence issues with my horse but yet love and trust him on the ground so much..we’ve been together for 13 years and done a lot..time to get back into it. Just no riding on the roads! (he is terrified of tractors and lorries and this is why I ended up with concussion). Kept me a lot fitter too!
from achieving this goal. I am sad. I miss him so much.

Saturday Reba and I did groundwork. It was really fun. I didn’t ride her, but we played and she got some good exercise. I just don’t have the time right now to ride very much, but groundwork is something I can do in a shorter period of time and at least we’re interacting.
My shareborder is really prompting this. Red is trying to buck her off on a regular basis, because he’s being a brat. So, I’ve been on him twice this week for schooling and now he’s been better for her. I want to make this regular, so I’m setting aside Sunday mid-morning and Tuesday eve. I hope it works.
