We’ve been agonizing over our first appointments with our new doctor in our HMO, not sure how open she’ll be to alternative medicine. Our HMO does do a lot of complementary medicine – yoga, Reiki, massage, etc., but we weren’t sure how she’d react to our use of homeopathics. We were ready to walk out of the appointment in the event she gave us crap about it.

Turns out she’s German, and was treated almost exclusively with homeopathics in her younger years. She doesn’t feel she knows enough to practice it, but has no problem with us doing it!

Just found out I didn’t get offered a job that I was a finalist for. The interview went really well, I thought.

That said, I didn’t really want the new job, I just wanted to get the offer so my boss could match it.

Parked way out in an all-day spot and walked to the office – about 7/10ths of a mile. It’s about 20 degrees and I’m walking straight into an 18 mph wind.

Tore it up good moving tables at work – got pinched/banged between two table corners. Deep puncture wound to the palm. Luckily no stitches, but it still hurts to the touch. Big gauze bandage all around the hand over the weekend, but just a big band-aid now. 4 months ago
