Ride a horse

I went to horse camp when I was a kid because my mom knew I loved horses.

Then, 2 years ago, I worked at an overnight camp that provided horseback riding as an activity and my cabin-mate ran the area so she taught me how, again. :)

I have gotten permission to do Tai Chi, and swim.

No horses yet.

Maybe in a few weeks ?

2 My Little Ponies at a sale yesterday. I know it doesn’t count, but I thought they were cute and good omens. They are on one of my altars…

to stopping at the nearest stable this afternoon (though I really was not supposed to be driving, but well, whatever)..
Then I thought about it and looked at the massive thunderhead on the horizon and figured that the horses wouldn’t be happy, nor would the owner or any trainers. But I was close. Closer than I have been since I taught riding through my local Women’s Center.

Horses are my favorite animals!
That’s why I want to ride one…
Hope my dream will come true!

Moderately silly considering I grew up on a farm with several horses, also considering my first job was working at a stable. So obviously it has been a while since I’ve been on a horse. Guess its time to get back in the saddle again (hahahahaha). Oh Gene Autry.

alas, no blue, but I have brought it down here to the office and I will display it somewhere to REMIND myself that I can do this !

But since I have Venus (the ruler of my Sun) square Uranus today, I had another one of those hapless accidents with my head and a car door. You can see stars.

So I will hang my Red Ribbon over my desk.
I will hang Son 1’s Blue Ribbon too I think…

I sure wish I didn’t get naseous from the Prescription strength vitamin D…

I didn’t dare ask my Dr, being as yesterday’s visit was a little stressful and well, I was afraid she might commit me, or drop dead from laughter.

I am a most difficult patient. I admit it…
I will gather something on Vitamin D at some point and leave it here, to remind myself. Or complete another goal (without breaking yet another bone) and make that a goal.

The good news ? My rib mended back together, so I will not be puncturing an internal organ. One more month to go on the
don’t do anything but be a Princess advice. Naturally, I ignored that. Which is how I got the Poison Ivy, which is now a systemic dermatitis, liable to crop up anywhere. And why I am back on steroids, which by the way, deplete your bones of calcium.

if this is the sort of thing one can advertise for on Elance ? I need a trainer experienced with us differently abled folk, and willing to work for a small fee (or Goddess be praised, for trade !) and that docile horse.

I dare say Craigslist isn’t high on my list right now.
But I bet that they would want medical clearance, and I can just see my Dr. laughing now and saying, “you want to do What ?”

Well I shall ponder this more…

I wonder if any 43things folk who Have horses live near me ? That would be very, very cool…

I can atleast play with someone else’s. I live in a very rural area, lots of farms and horses. I need to convince one of these farmer’s to let me borrow a horse for an afternoon. I haven’t been on a horse since I was a little kid.
