Ride a horse

I like horses, and when someone is riding a horse, i see a powerful sorce of strength.. i think it’s very nice!

First things first, riding a horse(for real) is NOT easy. But, if you really work at it, it’ll be fun. You need to know that horses are not just machines. They are living creatures with feelings and opinions. If you anger them, you could get thrown off,kicked or bit. Well, you also need to know that if you ride, your going to fall off. Part of life.
Before riding, you need a few things. Riding pants(not jeans)riding boots, and a helmet.
It’s also important to find a trainer you trust.
The first time you ride, your going to see it’s not all fun and games. For more info, try a book about riding.

My husband and I took a guided ride out in the desert (California), and had a great time. We’re talking about going again next month for his birthday!

my horse ran away on me! but it was probably one of the best experiences, and to say you’ve ridden is cool.

This is something I think everyone should do once.

My grandmother lives on a farm with horses. I used to ride all the time… it was an obsession of mine. One day I got bucked off and I”ve been afraid of horses ever since. I want to get over it and ride one again!!

I am scared of horses – but this is one of my new year’s resolutions!

But I really want to! I think I would love it. I was on a pony once for about 5 minutes when I was six. I don’t think that counts.
