sit in and take photos of 43 coffee shops

I didn’t stay at home waiting for something to happen, I went out to savour the beauty of the world. Sat around for a bit watching how light falls on people’s faces in various circumstances, then popped into Two Monkeys coffee shop for a quick cappuccino.

A lovely place with a great atmosphere. It was a very seedy italian coffee shop for many many many years (I can’t remember it changing in my 30 years in Loughborough). Then one day, it closed down, had a full revamp and reopened under new ownership. They’ve done a very good job.

And the coffee was good.

And I now have a loyalty card. Smart move on their part… maybe I shall introduce that with my photography. Buy 8 prints and you receive another one (in the smallest size ordered) for free. Hmm… a thought…

It was busy downstairs, but dead upstairs.

I now wish I’d done more with the circle of the lamp shade and the coffee cup… maybe lining them up into some bizarre geometric object.

With PT before he left for Bangkok and I left for Vietnam..

After a long walking day, we seperated from the group and headed back to the hotel but stopped at this coffee shop named lucky and ordered 2 glasses of hot cocoa..

It seems like I have to go here every time I go to Phuket. It is in the center of the town and easy to go anywhere or meet with friends.

This time I went there with PT. We sat there for a looooong time talking, eating and taking loads of photo.

It’s a nice place to hang out and very near to my home (seems like I am hopeless to find a new coffee shop to sit and enjoy coffee!). We stopped by to have lunch before I dropped PT at the bus terminal. He is on his way to Bangkok for a week. When he is back on this coming Friday, we are going to have some adventures together again!
