I’ve had the plan to do this for about 10 years and never got round to it. Back in 2002 I very nearly did but got my motorbike licence instead.

My friend and I still talk about stopping our procrastination and doing our AFF and getting our Cat 8 licence so we can go skydiving more regularly.

I think we will probably do it in a few years as there are some other things going on first, and I need to raise the money. Definitely going to be doing this at Empuriabrava in Spain though – currently less than EUR2,000 for 8 AFF jumps and 10 post grad jumps!

I’m getting closer to doing this! :)

I’ve found the best place to learn, about a 45 minute drive from the CBD, and they have this program where you can fully learn to skydive – and when you’re done with the program (it takes about two weeks) you get your own skydiving license, which lets you skydive anywhere in the world.

Unfortunately, I don’t yet have the funds for it. But I’m getting there!

always wanted to, gotta do it someday, i want to fly above the clouds and skydive down through them.

Something I have always wanted to do! 21 months ago

The wind in my face, the rush of adreniline as I freefall thousands of feet toward the earth, only a circle of cloth and robe keeping me from impending doom! Oh, gosh it would ROCK!

First step! 2 years ago

Emailed the local skydiving facility to find out how much it will cost to begin lessons…

You should do it in tandem with an expert. You get to drop out of a plane and freefall from 10,000 feet. With a static line, your parachute opens as you jump out and you have to spend a lot more time training. If you like it and want to do it again, then you can train.

what a feeling it would be to free fall….then pull that cord….

I’ve gone skydiving once a few years back. We jumped static and it was fantastic.

I really want to do enough to get my ticket though.
