with my Mom and sis. I took down their number, and I’m hoping their price is within range of something that I can afford. I think they’re also the people that offer the midnight horseback riding that I’ve been wanting to do for so long. May give them a call today…

I am going to beg my husband to do this ~ this upcoming weekend. I have wanted to do this for such a long time, because I absolutely love to ride horses and it seems exciting and romantic to do it at night when the stars are out. A man that lives near us takes groups out on the weekend for hours at night, and since my husband is friends with him it wouldn’t be that hard to accomplish this goal. I really hope he’ll want to do it, because he’s the only one I want to do it with :-)

In the middle of winter, during the full moon. A group of us took a long trailride through the countryside—strange, I can’t remember whether there was actually snow on the ground or whether the moon was so bright it merely imprinted that way on my memory. It was beautiful and peaceful, and the horses loved it and snorted as they raced each other. After we’d given them treats and freed them to the fields for the night, we drank cider heated on a pot-bellied stove and laughed and laughed and laughed.
