raise awareness for responsible pitbull ownership in an attempt to clear the pit's terrible reputation

I’m taking Diesel to doggie school soon. I really hope that he will prove to be a good dog there and show everyone how sweet and wonderful my little pibble can be. I’m also hoping it will help with his socialization.

And he is one of the most relaxed, loving dogs ever. He likes to lay in my lap like a baby. He hardly ever barks at anyone. He is a sweetheart :)

Why does everyone instantly think that my dog is dangerous or vicious? It kills me that even some of my friends are afraid to meet him. He’s an 8 month old puppy with a heart of gold. Yeah he’s bad sometimes and he destroys things and gets in trouble, but he’s a puppy! What puppy doesn’t do all of those things at some point? I’ve had him for about two months and he will sit, stay, come, lay down, back up, and we are working on learning to play fetch and teaching him the name of his toys! He’s amazingly smart and so willing to learn. All this poor little guy wants is love, and so many people just want to hate him for being a pit bull.
