What's 10lbs? 2 months ago

10 pounds is not a whole lot when you’re overweight like me. BUT I do believe that if I could just start losing.. Get on a routine and go with it.. Hear someone say, “You’ve lost weight!”... I would somehow be encouraged to continue and lose the weight I need to in order to be healthy. =)



This goal is getting 3 months ago

really hard and really irritating! Since i went to the doctors ive been eating every two hours and its mainly chocolate and snacky foods. I’m going to try and break the habit and eat fruit instead. At the beginning of this goal i lost loads of weight through not eating past 8pm among other things, so im going to go back to doing that, but making sure i keep my sugar levels up.
It also concides with my other goal, which is to exersize daily. I’m usually crap at this; i’m the mostly lazy person in my family. But i have a dance dvd that my sister likes doing with me and i have a new mp3 player for going running. So its all systems go. I’ve definitely got to change my habits!



ok, 3 months ago

ive just visited the doctor about some problems that ive ben having and he seems to think that its got to do with my sugar levels fluctuating all the time. this is bad news for my weight loss, because for 10 weeks ive got to try and eat every 2 hours thoughout the day.
On the upside, it means i don’t have to go long periods without food (whaay :D) and im going to try and eat healthy things like fruit, veg and a bit of pasta every two hours. Oh, and no food after 8pm, as usual!
I put on a pound in the last week so im definitely gunna try real hard at this.



okay, 4 months ago

i didnt manage to lose the 10lbs by the time i went on holiday, which was disappointing. plus, while i was there i completely forgot about my new diet and gorged on everything! :(
so now, over 2 weeks later, i’m back to sqaure one.
i’m lost some weight but not enough that im happy with, i still reckon a further 6lbs would be good.
i’ve been ill with a cold these last few days so havent felt like eating much, which should slice some of the pounds off! x

And i’ve lost another 2lbs in the last couple of days!
Basically i’m stopped snacking all day long and have divided my day into 5 small meals e.g. one for breakfast, one for lunch, two between 1pm and 5pm (thats when im most prone to slipping up) and one for dinner. I’m not not eating and starving myself, cause i dont see that as a good way to lose weight. i haven’t eaten past 8pm and cut down on carbs as well.
i’m so happy so far lets see if i can lose the further 4lbs by next week! x



I've had a brainwave! 5 months ago

i read something last night about low carb diet, and realised that most of the food i eat is made up of carbs i.e. potatoes, toast etc. i’ve managed to shift 4lbs already so to lose the other 6lbs i’m going to try a low carbs diet for a couple of days. i’ve also realised that because i’ve got 2 young sisters my family usually eat later at night e.g. between 6 and 9pm. i’m going to try and eat the heavier meals in the morning and afternoon and stick to salads and light foods at night, as this might help the weight loss.
finally, i’m not going to eat anything after 8pm.
weighing myself everyday is also becoming a problem, so the next time will be saturday morning (it’s now wednesday).



i've been eating 5 months ago

Really well recently! As in hardly any cakes, junk or sweets; mainly toast, vegetables, salad and yoghurts. in my previous entry i had already lost 4lbs, which motivated me to carry on.
it is getting harder to stop myself eating chocolate though.
my sisters birthday was 3 days ago and she had cake, crisps and chocolate and it was a killer! i had a small piece of cake and that was it, but it was enough to make me feel like crap for the rest of the day.
Am determinned to lose these further 6lbs before my holiday. i will do it :) i’ve noticed that the best thing to do is to keep busy- i don’t think about my hunger then x



Recently 5 months ago

I’ve realised that i’m set to go on holiday in 2 weeks and could do with losing a little weight to look good in a bikini.
I have to admit, i’m not overweight in the slightest, but feel that losing 10lbs would make me feel better about myself and look slim!

The only reason i’ve started writing in here again is because i’ve been trying for the past week as well, and have managed to drop 4lbs, in a week! i was shocked lol. The only things that i have done differently are not eating chocolate, crisps and fast food, which are my downfall. i never exercise and don’t plan to. like i said, i’m naturally quite small. i never plan what i’m going to eat, i just throw together some ‘healthy things’ for meals, such as wholemeal bread sandwiches, yoghurt, fruit, salad, fruit juice and potatoes.

Let’s see if i can lose the remaining 6lbs in 2 weeks! Personally i know i can do it as long as i make my own lunches and bring them to work. x

I really want to lose 10lbs in 2 weeks. Hopefully will! I’v got a party coming up and i’v got to look the hottest!!
I’m starting the 250cal diet today (monday) and the rules are as followed:
1.some days won’t eat anything.
2. Eat a multi-vitamin every day.
3. Drink 10 glasses of water (benefits for the skin too) exercise 4. Two hours a day in the gym on the stairmaster and treadmill.

Tough i know but i’m determined! I’m 5’9 btw and weigh 152lbs so anyone interested in joining me don’t hestitate to contact me so we can talk about our progress :)
