    I want to learn to speak fluent tagalog. My boyfriend is from the Phillipines and he speaks it with his family. I always feel left out of the conversations. Plus, I want to learn another language just to be bilingual.

    So, I’m filipino, and I visit the philippines fairly often yet I still don’t know tagalog. All my cousins and family there speak english.. so I feel kinda bad not being able to speak tagalog. I took a class at school, but that wasn’t enough (only 1-2). now i’m relying on a book that I’ve got to start reading sometime..
