bury treasure

I was in the park this morning, just sitting and relaxing when I noticed a gentleman off in the distance waving a metal detector over the ground. I was wondering if he ever found anything when it struck me – why don’t I give him and all his metal detector friends things to find. I have a lot of old coins, none worth very much, and I could bury some in parks as I visit them. Coins are small and easy to carry so if I always have one or two with me, this would be easy to do. And it may make someone’s day to find and old coin. I even have some foreign coins. Think of the stories these guys could make up. Good idea???
