Buy a fish

my sister bought a fish…

I didn’t exactly go out and buy a fish, but I would have if my brother hadn’t given me one. As a project, my brother’s elementary school class created mini aquariums that worked as self sufficient ecosystem.

It’s a really clever little project, and very fascinating, you don’t even need to care for it (the fish eats the algae in the aquarium, and the snails and plants help maintain the aquarium as well).

Anyway, he named her Ashe for me, a character in a game I’m playing right now (FFXII) which I thought was sweet.

Oh, and on top of that, she’s apparently pregnant! So there should be little fishies on the way :P

I’ve got a Red Betta named “Strawberry” he’s actually a very pretty bright color. He was supposed to the Kindergarten class pet but he lives at my house 85% of the time…

I had two fish Sharky & George & when George died Sharky was really lonely :-( but before i could get him another friend he die of fin rot & i was really upset. So no it wasn’t worth it.

yay i bought myself a betta fish today… i left for a few hours, half expecting him to be floating upside-down at the top of the bowl when i returned. i got home, and he was a the bottom… not moving… _{oh lord i’m a fish killer!}

i’m not really; i guess he was just asleep :) tee-hee…

ok i know they die like no tomorrow, but i think i want a fish now… i’ve had to flush quite a few in my time, but what the hey…

maybe i’ll get one this weekend.

ours died over the weekend—time for a new one…..
