So I’ve got the chain down I think…My grandmother tried to teach me when I was a little kid…But seeing as I was a kid, my attention span for the craft was very little…So now that I’m older I wanted to pick it up again, however my grandmother can no longer crochet. So..to make a long story short, can someone give me any tips on how to get started?
edit okay so I have a good understanding now of the single crochet stitch but now I’m looking for help to understand the patterns for Amigurumi. If anyone would like to help me with this it would be greatly appreciated. _

a amigurumi LOVE BUG. It’s really cute. The body was easy to make, but the heart-shaped wings were much harder. It’ll be ready to send off next week.

Those little arms and legs are a lot harder than they look! My wrists and fingers are stiff and swollen, but I made a supercute monkey for my sweetest Valentine!

It will be finished today. I am giving it to my daughter for Valentine’s day, so I have no choice. I just need to make one leg, two arms and a tail, and sew it all together, and embroider a face.
I am excited to check something off my list, and maybe add a photo.

I’ve done a ladybug, a rabbit and a tiny mouse. I think I am ready for making some more for Christmas!
