I still can’t do the perfect eye rim but I’m much closer to getting the smoky shadow effect right. The trick is to use an actual blunt haired brush, not the little foam tipped thing that comes with most eye shadows. Get the brush wet and really work some of the shadow into it, like you would with a paint set. Then, you paint the colour on with precision and it lasts quite a while when the dampness dries.
