get my camera fixed or buy a new one

I chose to buy a new camera instead of trying to fix the old one which I think would have been a lost cause anyway .

This takes good pictures :) I’m happy with it .

My mum bought a new camera and came over my house with it yesterday. It takes good pictures, and it’s smaller which is what I wanted. But I still like my old camera but there’s not much I can do if no batteries will work in it .

So I’m thinking about buying the same camera she bought , although I’m only thinking about it, not completely sure yet . The camera is making my dogs ears and belly look dark pink though for some reason , must of been the lighting . There’s got to be something in the setting you can change to make it normal .

It turns out they don’t even sell the batteries anymore . And the salesperson said that any batteries should work in my camera, which they don’t , only a certain expensive brand does for some dumbass reason .

I think that means I’m going to need to buy a new camera. And that means new memory sticks and everything. How annoying

Ok I was looking at my camera about 15 minutes ago and I’m pretty sure it’s just the batteries. But only a certain type of brand will work in this camera for some reason. I’m going to buy these specific batteries and if it doesn’t work after that well then screw it I’m buying a new camera lol :)

The camera I have at the moment is good , it takes good quality photos but the problem is the battery , or how long the camera lasts before the battery dies.

The battery isn’t inbuilt , it just 2 AA sony batteries , that I put into a separate charger to charge them up . But the camera will not work with any other batteries . And even when I charge the batteries up, it only lasts about 120 seconds before it cuts out and I can’t use it .

I don’t know if it’s worth trying to find out the problem , I think I’d be better off just buying a new one with a built in battery . I wanted a smaller camera anyway . But at the moment I don’t want to spend $700 on a camera so not sure what I’m going to do just yet .

Considering my financial situation at the moment, this just isn’t a priority.
