I’ve already read several parts of this, but I’ve never read it all the way through. I want to get through it from start til finish, so that I’m confident I know what happens in it, and I can say I’ve read The Odyssey!
How I did it: I read as much as possible, give other things I had to study, every day. Once you get used to the style, it's easy to knock out a book a day. Just keep in mind that it's a book that shaped our civilization and if you're a literary person, you'll keep coming back to it throughout your life.

If I’ll be in the play, I better get to it NOW
I feel sort of pathetic for not actually doing this yet. Everyone’s read the excerpts in class and such, but, it seems like a must-read all the way.
I’m going to get a cheap copy and start this weekend.

This is one of those books that you always want to read, and just keep putting off. I’m glad I’ve finally read it, and I loved it.

Hi, The Odyssey is one of the best epic poems ever! If it were not for things like the Odyseey and the Odyssey itself we would have never had Lord of the Rings, or Star Wars, or any of the great epics there are. This inspired countless other writers and created a new way to tell stories. So, you should read it, just to see the grandfather of all Epics.
Its cool how old it is and all.
To bad its hella stupid, I really wanted to like it.
