to the gym 5 days a week, eat clean, no bad carbs or potatoes. or junk food. etc. enjoy my food. my diet is high protein low carb and i like it like that. its quite a feat as i work in an italian restauarnt, and i get comments on my staff food alot. as i eat the same food everyday lol. and its not pasta or pizza. i havent eaten that for 2 months.
also been drinking a half litre water bottle of home made iced green tea daily, as well as i take 2 green tea diet tablets a day.
also treated myself to diamond peel microdermabrasion and oxygen therapy treatments for the skin.
i have also lost more weight and am at my lowest currently. and the best thing is i dont feel like im on a diet, i just enjoy going to the gym and i enjoy the food that i eat, i have my breakfast, lunch, supper and snack staples and things i eat that i know are good for me. its definately a lifestyle. i dont feel deprived. i did have a small peice of chocolate cake last week during my parents joint birthday where we we all went out with some family members, and it was nice enough, but i found i didnt really enjoy it that much, as my body is not used to such extreme sugars now it seems. 1 month ago

quite the obsession with green tea. its the only herbal tea that i actually enjoy and choose to drink.
so now that i have cut back on drinking coffee at night, i am drinking it then instead. i will sometimes have the odd cup in the day, however my mornings and days tend to be reserved for coffee for the most part.
however i get my green tea in other ways too. i take green tea diet tablets twice a day or sometimes once cos sometimes i forget to take it in the afternoon. i also have this powdered matcha green tea, that i add to my protein shakes, i add it to my home made yoghurts too, and anything else i can think of. you only use a quarter of a teaspoon, no more. it is enough.
and now tonight i have decided to start drinking cold green tea in the day, so i boiled 500ml of water, then poured it in a pouring jug and steeped one green tea bag in it, as well as a quarter teaspoon of matcha powdered green tea. and let it sit in there for awhile. then i removed the teabag, and let the tea cool. i then poured the jug of tea into my water bottle. and once the tea has cooled down completely, im gonna stick it in the fridge over night, and tommorow i will have cold green tea to drink during the day! :))) will still have my skinny lates, and americanos at work, but i like to have my green tea too. and try to find ways of incorporating it into my diet.
im even drinking some hot green tea now. super good for you, lots of antioxidents and helps boost your metabolism.
really like my cold green tea idea. nice easy way to get my daily dose! 2 months ago

im considering looking into yoga classes. i did it a few times a few years ago in the past at my gym, however they have stopped doing the yoga classes there now, which is really unfortunate. it would have been ideal. i really enjoyed it the few times i went, and it will be a good stress release as well as good for my aching body due to working out.
i think there is yoga classes in my town, at a place where they also do zumba there, i have gone there to do zumba in the past (i am not a fan of zumba, not for me), so i will see if they do actually do yoga there. and will have to check times. i dont want it to conflict with my gym workouts.
but if i can make this a once a week thing, it would be good. if not even jsut once or twice a month or whenever i can fit it in would do.
will look into this. 2 months ago

i was talking to my tutor today, about to leave college and booking my classes for next week. when she asked me if i had lost weight! i said, well i sure as hell am trying! lol
she said she could tell i have lost weight. i was looking slimmer and she could also see it in my face. she then asked me how i was doing it and i told her that i go to the gym alot and try and eat clean healthy food, lots of veg and protein and cut down on carbs alot, good fats etc. she proceded to tell me she was starting weight watchers next week. i told her ive never been into weight watchers but everyone is different. but year was nice that she noticed!
and apparently according to my mom, my aunt also noticed that i had lost weight, last week when they came back from their holiday.
so finally after 6 weeks since starting eating better and back into fitness people are beginning to notice the changes. woop woop! 2 months ago

I have a problem with too much sugar in my diet. I have cut out all sweetened beverages from my diet. Next I am working towards reducing my starch intake. This will be challenging since I eat mainly a vegetarian diet. 6 months ago

it begins with respecting your body, and once you respect it, you start to nourish and treat it the way deserves to be treated. I’m getting there, slowly. 11 months ago

These last two weeks, I have been less than kind to my body. I stopped exercising completely and began binge eating all of the horrible things I otherwise knew better than to consume (beers, nachos, onion rings, burger and ice cream!!!) I suppose i was seduced by the return of the glorious sun and the overwhelming heat and gave in to all my summertime (aka cruise boat) habits. No more, though! A healthy mind can only develop in a healthy body, and tonight I will climb onto my elliptical and sweat some of those excess calories off, and will eat mindfully again from this moment on. 12 months ago

I have been playing around for the past few weeks and have been eating often and really badly, sleeping really badly and haven’t been committed to exercise. I have to find much more productive ways of dealing with anxiety. 13 months ago

..because I want to break these big, hard-to-quantify goals down into smaller chunks. I need to be much more specific about what I want to achieve and more clear about how/when to complete it. 14 months ago
