There are no shortage of balloon companies in this area! I am excited! The most popular ones seem to be based in Boulder, along the Front Range. The general cost is around $175-195 per person, which was about what it was in Michigan. I must say that I am glad to have waited to have this experience in Colorado. Much more scenic.
It’s probably an odd goal for someone who is terrified of heights and flying but see goal number two: live passionately. To me this means defeat your fears and live with no regrets.
Exotic and peaceful, yet stimulating~ is how I imagine this to be.
Ever since I was in nursery, really. We had a picture on the wall of the balloon, and a big basket at the bottom on the floor you could stand in and pretend you were up there. I loved it there, me and my friend used to stand in it for ages and pretend we were in a balloon.
as soon as I renew my pass to the WAP Rile & I are going UP, even tho it’s tethered it will count ;)
I’d just LOVE to have a little float around in a basket attatched to a giant piece of material with nothing but hot air stopping me from dropping to the ground.
I think it would be great fun. Bring it on!
Maybe in Orlando. They do them over Disneyworld. Serendipity, what do you think? Next November?
Frannie Girl is heading off with her hubby for a few hours of relaxation.
Ok I am very afraid of heights…..especially wide open heights. HOWEVER….....this was amazing and well worth it. Go for it.
