Make a reading list and start reading more

I read Insomnia some years ago and just picked it back up for another spin. The Goodwill stores around here sell paperbacks for $1.99 and have a lot to choose from, so if it’s something I think I’d like to hang onto (like Stephen King) then I’ll go ahead and buy it rather than checking it out of the library.

right now i’m working on the sookie stackhouse series [or true blood for those watching on tv] i’m working on book 3 out of 9. and trying to start a list for what to do after that.

Reserved a bunch of library books from different branches in the county to be picked up at the branch nearest my home. Right now I’m on Stephen King’s “Different Seasons,” and it’s very good.

I’ve finally got my list set of what I want to read this year and I’m actually getting a good amount of it read. :]
It’s definitely worth it.

I used to keep track of the books I wanted to check out of the library by keeping a Wish List on Amazon.com. This was great, because I could read the reviews, and the site would prompt me with other books I might enjoy as well. Then I’d go to Compact View, and print the whole thing. Or just go to the library’s website and look up titles using my Amazon list as a reference, then reserve them. I should start doing this again!

I’ve started reading a lot more and it’s definitely worth it. I didn’t make a reading list because then it just seemed forced. It’s a lot better if you just get into the habit of picking up a book and reading than spending hours on end on Wikipedia and other sites randomly wandering around!

I’m reading more than ever. Is that not good enough?
