Own a Pointless Collection

I’m doomed to being a pack rat.

I’ve collected over 40 elephants, including a very cute hefalump from Winnie the Pooh. Even though they’e spilling off their designated tables onto the floor, I love them.

I forget how many I have but it’s well over 100…most of them pinned into the fabric on my locker at work, but a few of them are, um, not quite suitable for the office!

I think I probably have a few pointless collections, but the stupidest is most definitely the roadsign collection. I would guess that I have about 20 or 25 signs, one of which is about 5 feet tall. When I was a teen, I used to steal them with friends, and even by myself occasionally. My first apartment had them all over the walls, but i’ve never really put them up since. I don’t know if that’s quite the impression I want to give to people who stop buy. I’m saving them now to use in a rec room when I buy my first house.

I collected tons of letter sets and some oil paper bookmarks when I was in High School.
