I finally found the time to put all of our photos in albums chronologically! It is so nice to not have to search through old shoeboxes.
Organize and Digitize

I recently decided to organize and digitize my family’s entire photo collection, which were also in numerous boxes in the basement. A few weeks ago I arranged the mess chronologically by event in photo boxes, and just yesterday I finished scanning every last one onto our computer and encrypted them onto a USB flash drive. I’ve still got to scan the framed photos, as well as put the archived ones into a pair of photo albums we bought with our family name stamped on the cover.
It is such an undertaking, but very exciting to see it coming together. I think it’s important to do for the family – not to mention entertaining.
