go on a long holiday

Tickets booked finally, thanks to cheap rates being provided by Air Deccan. 2 days to Bangalore is definitely not a ‘long holiday’, but well, atleast its a start.

Ofcourse, it also gives me the chance of achieving my other goal, the one about visiting Peco’s again. Its a well deserved holiday, after two summer courses here, with an extended stay in the institute hostel.

Been a while I went on a real holiday. I mean, who are we kidding with weekends off to Lonavla or Khandala. Guess the last time Ihad a real vacation was a 10 odd day trip to Bangalore to visit a pal from college. That makes it more exciting.
But my most memorable holiday has been my 2 month vacation in Birmingham and a few European countries. With mom and brother. Can’t really expect one of those soon, but office sending me on work would be nice. Else I might just need a few weeks off in Goa with guys like Sid and Jay. Lets see what works out. What seems on the cards is a trip in December to see my neighbour from college get married. Would be fun to look up punks from college after three and a half years!

The holiday I have in mind should at least last 4 weeks, at minimum. I’m just not sure where I want to go (and who’s going to pay for it … but that’s another story).
