ProphetPX is at home, full from dinner, finally from GOOD food this time! ;-)
I already know some PHP and some MySQL, but not alot … I wish! I have learned some though.
My favorite PHP IDE/editor is PHP Edit from Waterproof Software! :-)

Also, on a related note, my favorite IDE/editor for MySQL database administration has been Embarcadero’s “SQL Tuner” (Now “DB Artisan”):

I am a complete beginner! I’ve just signed up for a basics Web Authoring course which will run to the end of the year & then in the new year I’ll pick up the PHP / MySQL course that follows from it. — Can’t wait! :D

Sidetracked as I learn Ruby, which is fun so far. It’ll be interesting to see if I can use it for anything.

do i continue on my plan with php and mysql? ive no problem with mysql, but with php, its another thing. is php hard to learn?

I am an artist and have been one all my life. I have had numerous shows and have sent my work all over the USA. I have done this while raising two kids solo and working full time as a Registered Veterinary Technician. Now I want to do my art full time, but I am in school full time retraining in web design and getting two degrees. One is in art. Once I am out of school, I am going to paint every day and sketch and then work on my website.
I am counting the days.

Looked up this online tutorial. http://www.w3schools.com/php/default.asp
Not bad but I wish it went over the conditions of syntax a bit more. Does anybody know of a really good tutorial for people with really short attention spans?
