I love bunny hopping. 2 years ago

I’ve been able to do it for year but I want to be able to get about 2 feet high since Ive started riding a lot again. Right now I think I can get about 15-18 inches high. Here is a pic from riding today.

Well, first of all, the best way to learn to bunny hop is to learn an endo. Its basically the same motion you need after you lift your front tire up. You don’t even need to hold the endo, just get your back tire up a good bit and don’t fall forward unless your wearing a Full-Face helmet like I do. Once you get that, practice it on small pieces of wood in combonation with pulling your front tire up.

Oh..by the way..Mountain bikes aren’t good for learning bunny hops..Use a lightweight Freestyle bike, like a Dyno(only get these kind of bikes if you are actually going to continue learning BMX tricks, they cost a lot)

I STILL CAN'T! 3 years ago

HELP!!!!!!!!!
Ok get this. I can wheelie. I mean. Anyone can get their front wheel off the ground. There’s different ways of doing it. But still. I got it. BUT! I cannot get the back wheel off. I read everything on the net. But I couldn’t find thorough instructions. I know it takes practice. But if somone can just e-mail me on how to put your feet/hips/etc and how to do it. I will greatly appreciate it. jbd290@aim.com

Quick Like a Bunny 4 years ago

So I got this nice mountain bike, but I don’t really plan to use it on mountains that much. I’m trying to learn how to bike in the city, and I’m tired of just popping my front wheel up on curbs and just rolling over. Same goes for logs when I’m riding singletrack. So I want to learn to hop like a bunny.
