I’ve got my mantra on a fridge magnet. Pretty much sums up all I believe
How to memorize and Live "This is What You Shall Do"
It made me 
"I was in love with the words."
How I did it: I am a theater student so memorizing is second nature but I read it every night before I go to sleep. I actually want to get :and your very flesh shall be a great poem" tattooed on my wrist

It took me one day. I was in bed, reading it over and over to myself…and then I would close my eyes and go as far as I remember…and when I forgot, I would look at the paper again and read it again and again, and then repeat.
It is my life mantra. I love it.
