So things are better. I only saw my boyfriend once this week and spent more time with my true friends and have been so happy this week. I hope this sticks after I break up with my boyfriend and my friends are still gonna stick around because ending a year and eight month relationship will be hard.

Friends are so important to me, and I feel so sad that I drifted away from so many of them over this past year. This is a lesson learned though, that many of these people were never truly my real friends, especially with everything I have been dealing with all year. My goal is to make new friends, which is hard in my small town. I’ll see where it goes though. 6 months ago

This has actually been happening for me. I mean, sure, I still have lonely and depressing evenings, but I’ve made a fair amount of friends at work recently, a few of whom I actually feel comfortable calling up to hang out on a weekend. Big step!

The downside is that all of these people are single girls who are younger than me, which means Greg gets left out in the cold, and I probably am acting less mature than I should. So now to find some couples friends…. 8 months ago
