Id love to see all the new wonders and the finalists! Im a little disappointed that Christ The Redeemer won, only because there isnt much wonder to how it was made. It was built in the 1930’s whereas Stonehenge or Easter Island are complete mysteries to this day. Thats just my opinion.
I think it would be even cooler to discover the remnants of one of the ancient wonders, the Hanging Gardens of Babylon for example ;)
ok, i think i have found what is traditionally the 7 wonders of the world. unfortunately they were all destroyed bar the pyramids of Giza. so there is now a new 7 wonders. i know people seem to have listed practically dozens but i want the standard 7.
Great Wall – China
Christ the Redeemer – Brazil
Machu Picchu – Peru
Colosseum – Italy
Taj Mahal – India
Petra – Jordan
Chichen Itza – Mexico
But just because they also look amazing i m gonna try and see the “finalists” that didnt make the top 7.
They are:-
The Acropolis – Greece
Alhambra – Spain
Angkor – Cambodia
Statues of Easter Island – Chile
Eiffel Tower – France
Hagia Sophia – Turkey
Kiyomizu Temple – Japan
Kremlin/St Basil – Russia
Neuschwanstein Castle – Germany
Pyramids of Giza – Egypt
Statue of Liberty – USA
Stonehenge – UK
