MsRiguez64 is reviewing and updating her goals..
I started Law School June 2008, after a whirlwind decision to go for it. My original goal was to finish my Clinical Psych degree, but I just wasn’t feeling it. I decided to go to Law School in December of 2007, quickly investigated when the next LSAT exam was and took it Feb ‘08. I negotiated a transfer at my job to work at our office that was in Seattle, in case I got admitted. Everything fell into place. I submitted my application to Seattle University in March and was admitted and in class by June! I have now been in Law School for 7 months. I have just completed my first full semester and am heading back to my second tomorrow. WOW! It is definitely a challenge. I am working and going to school at night, so I spend my weekends doing nothing but studying. I miss my friends, family and hanging out doing fun things….BUT…I am here and I know it will be worth it.
changed this goal to “complete my Master’s degree” and relisted in my 43 things. made some progress in the past month or so, and gearing up for a big push for Spring, 2009 completion.
I haven’t really done this, just accidentally clicked that button and don’t know how to re-list it. :-(
Sucks, though. I am either going to do this over the summer or hang it up as a permanent failure.
This may take me a while, but it will be done!

I don’t even know if I CAN finish, or if some time limit may have run out on my coursework at the university. I’m too embarrassed to contact them to find out! I WILL finish writing my thesis first, and then make the contacts to see if I can still do it. I must have a finished product in hand (even if it will require revisions) before I can face my advisor again! I want to write it this summer, and make the contacts when the fall term begins.
