see old friends

We had a great time! We talked about good old days and we laughed at our silliness, antics and adventures! i really enjoyed the night and I hope we could do this more often! Here’s my tribute to my old friends:
Bong – we fondly call him “Botchok,” he’s one of Manok’s (my Papi) buddies.
Arnel – he was my kindergarten classmate!
Orly – the mathematician and the clown, then and now.
Pamela – my elementary buddy whom I haven’t seen for 13 years.
Noel – which I fondly call as “Igan” He is my best buddy, and Manok’s best buddy, too.
Manok – none-other-than my Papi, my hubby. They fondly remembered that he was the “playboy” back then.

It’s great to remember them as they were and realized that we’ve not lost those qualities of ours even now….. we are just “better.” I always believe that what we are now is because of the friends we made and the life we experienced during our “puberty” time.

It is also nice to feel that as if we have not been apart for so many years! :)

I am looking forward seeing my old friends from my high school… I am excited but quite apprehensive… Some of them I regularly see, but not those few that I didn’t see for quite some time, like 20plus years! We have contacts, one way or another, that’s what technology is about… but seeing them is different thing… I realized that I missed them… (Funny that feeling of “missing” them at the only moment you think of them…. Well maybe because of the sheer delight of these memories of childhood and friendship!)

So i was finally able to see and hang out with all the old friends i used to be so close to. I went to sault ste marie, where i once grew up, for a friends birthday party as a surprise to her. She loved it, and through that i ended up moving back, and got to hang out and see a lot of old friends, going out for coffee, and whatever else. But there were also friends who i saw, who we wer just two totally different people, and will say hi when we pass eachother, or smile, but dont hang out like we used to. Lately, however, a few old friends have been hanging out with a few new friends, so we’ve slowly been hanging out in the same group again, but it’s not the same. Its worth it too me, because it was a chapter i had in my life that needed to be closed, and i was finally able to say goodbye to the freinds i needed too, and move on.

I also, last summer, was able to go to winnipeg and stay at friends houses, go out for coffee with them, hang out with their friends, and have a fun time. It was nice seeing a couple ppl who i haven’t seen for a few years, and we both changed, but we were still able to hang out like old times.

Seeing old friends again, is always worth it. It may not end up how you would have liked it, with being all buddy buddy, being just as close, and everything being the same like you may like it to be….but its always worth it, just so you never wonder what if. I suggested if you have the oppitunity, to do it.

I lost her and never saw her again becuz she moved to another state…Indiana….and this year in her place the new girl made a new friend but the hole in my heart is still wide and waiting for her..her image is slipping from my mind but she never got replaced in my heart and i really really miss her

My friend was great. Although I didn’t show much enthusiasm, I truly was happy. We ate pizza, went to the mall, and played games at D&B. Then we all slept over a person’s house.

I’ll be seeing a great friend who moved to Ohio a year and a half ago. Tomorrow we’ll be going to the local mall here and have a sleepover at another persons house. The three of us are gonna have a gangsta time.
