I gained about 5kg compared with 3 months ago. I should do something to avoid being a fat man. It may be a little bit too late, but this is my New Year’s Resolution of 2009.

I am going to try the Couch-to-5K running plan. It’s a 2 month plan that can easily be fit into 1.5 hours a week.
I went today! Yay! I woke up a little late, but I went anyway, and it worked out just fine.
I want to continue! I tried at the beginning of the summer, but I stopped when I went to camp. I started again on September 26th. I went MW that week, MW the next week, and finally MWF last week. I went M this week, too. I have been running on the treadmill at the gym here at UCSC, and I’ve been upping the time/speed/effort gradually.
I used to keep track on my jogging in a notebook. I’m going to start doing that again.
I ran my first 5k nearly six months ago and then stopped all together. I’m trying to pick back up but I feel so busy. Any ideas?
I find if you jog early in the morning before work then for the rest of the day your full of energy and more focused. For this reason im going to start going for 4o min jogs monday to friday and then a big jog on sunday mornings. I’ve got a few half marathons coming up next month in portsmouth and Poole so need to start training a bit harder. Plus ive entered the london marathon next year (so need to keep it up!). I’m always in a much better mood after going for a jog as well. I tend to plan a lot of stuff when im jogging, for example what im doing next week or plans for the future! Best way to get a six pack too (i dont mean jogging to the off license)!!! Another one of my goals on this site was to cut down drinking and i find jogging has helped me do this as its something else to do when im bored rather than just go into town for a few drinks.
Starting tomorrow I will jog every saturday morning, I would like to get in touch with other people who do this on saturday morning… the thought of other 43things.com people jogging somewhere else might motivate me.
I am like, very yound but very addicted to sugar. I have about a half a mile road and i jogged the whole thing back and forth one time. i did that only once a week (because I was lazy) and soon i lost 12 pounds in one week.
