I got an “A” in the Titration practical and another “A” in observation practical. Now I have two practicals down, one practical and two exams to go.

How to get an A in chemistry"It wasn't easy but I got an A in chemistry!"
How I did it: I purchased a study guide and used that to supplement my textbook. I also found alot of helpful info on the internet, e.g., lessons and practice tests. The lab was worth 25% of the grade so I focused alot of attention on the lab reports . I made sure not to miss any classes as attendance was also part of the grade. How I did it: Basic technique: Read chapter once through quickly (before lecture!). Read again and do all sample problems within chapter. Skim third time and do as many of the end problems as possible (my book had like a hundred to two hundred per chapter.) If you can't do a problem find out why, don't just skip it. Ask questions. This experience rocked. I know gen. chem very well. Read how I did it…

livvi1008 iss.. in accounting. =/
This class has proven very hard for me this year. I knew it would be a challenge, and I have barely squeaked by with a B-. By the end of the year I hope to bring it up to an A.

In ten weeks I will know if I completed this goal…
Off to hit the books.

Well, received As in Chem 101, 111, and 112. But a B in 102. I tried my best however, and could have ended up with a C (I was very close) so I will not be too upset over this. My GPA rose to about 3.84 but jumped down to 3.81. The real killing will occur this fall with my seven classes!! haha :)

I seriously am getting it…(mostly)
3 chapters in my first week
at least 300 problems
>40 hours of studying
And I have one more chapter to read before the exam. If I study another 20 hours with homework and extra problems, I think I should be prepared for our first test in one week!!

Ok, I start chem on this upcoming Monday. I didn’t do so well in high school. I’m shooting for A’s in all four chemistry courses/labs to boost my 3.82 GPA up a little more.
I have a couple semesters of organic, physical, quantitative, biochemistry, and their accompanying labs for my major so it’s highly important that I get it right this time.
