Have a little bit of pointless fun every day

This morning I was dancing around my trailer to Michael Jackson’s Scream, while picking up and cleaning a bit. I while taking my trash out, I even did a flair and smooth semi pop and lock dance out on my deck. LOLZ! I wish I had that video. I love that video!

Yeah, I didn’t care who saw me dancing. Just living life and having a bit of pointless fun.

The neighbors can be jealous that they can bust a move with life. Life is what you make it. I just try to make it more full with God at my side.

family is in Texas…oooh so far away! I am so lonely. They may not be able to come see me this summer. Boo-Hoo cry like a baby.

Then I had a flash today! A lightbulb over my head moment.

Hah, there are web cameras, facebook, phones, e-mail and snail mail where the post office sends flat rate boxes anywhere in the country…mmm…gift boxes full of goodies and surprises are in store weekly for 3 little ones in Texas…maybe even throw in a thing or 2 for their parents occassionally! :)

If I can’t be the eccentric fun grandmama in person, we’ll still forge that relationship! Then when I do see them we all will be excited.

asked me to join their family and my friend on the lake today for an afternoon of boating. We had so much fun and the weather was beautiful!

Then I had a celebratory drink with my friend at her house…came home and ate some chicken and salad…thinking at 11 when the sun goes down I will be able to see the fireworks over the lake from my deck! I will have a glass of wine and toast our freedoms while listening to my cable music “sounds of the season” which has been playing patriotic music all day!

I do have a bit of drama queen in me. ;)

Truth is without this friend in the wilderness my 4th of July would have sucked…God sure does look out for us!

my widow’s peak. I wear bangs so she had no idea I had one. She thought I should show it more often but since my brain surgery my forehead is off center hence the bangs.

She said that a widow’s peak means extra good luck. I had no idea what it means so I looked it up today. It is a feature that is a dominant genetic trait.

Seems in 1500s English folklore people that have the widow’s or widower’s peak is an omen that they will outlive their spouses.
I am not really superstitious but I am a widow.

Her daughter and son-in-law had gotten tickets to a local production of “Stones in his Pockets” a very fast paced play where 2 actors are playing 100 characters.

Her significant other said he’d rather have a root canal than go to this performance so they ask me to go with them.

It was amazing! I can’t imagine how they remembered all of those lines and characters so seamlessly. Their timing was impeccable.

I would love to get back into the theater. It would be so much fun!

so I looked through his friends today. It was amazing to see his childhood friends all grown up, married and with children.

For a second it made me feel old…then I realized how awesome a person my son is to have kept those connections to his friends all these years. I’m a very proud momma. :)

I have discovered Facebook! A friend from here invited me and of course I had to join!

One more thing to distract me on the internet. :)

and I played Chutes and Ladders last night. It was sooo much fun to watch her laugh whenever I’d get close to her and have to slip down the chute to start over.

It was a very special evening sharing family time with them.

I have been wandering down memory lane looking at Fort Worth’s Realtor Directory to see who may still be in business.

To my surprise I saw many friendly faces I knew well over the years with lots of new names and faces thrown in for good measure.

All of a sudden I feel very lonely here in the wilderness.
