read more manga

I think I’ll call this goal completed when I’ve finished at least five new mangas.

On that note I started reading Absolute Boyfriend on the suggestion (more like demand) of a friend. Its actually really funny. And pretty short at 35 chapters.

I am reading and enjoying so many new and old Manga. I like shojo and shonen equally. I enjoy a good love unrequited/requited story, but other times I just want to to see a good fight drawn out. :)

I am also a fan of really ridiculous story lines – Guru Guru Pon Chan – a Labrador that turns into a human and falls in love with a boy who falls in love back while knowing she is really a dog.

Currently immersed in Naruto, Bleach, Strawberry Marshmellow, Tsubasa, XXXholic, RG Veda, Wish, X (I like CLAMP), Faeries Landing, Vampire Game, Never Give Up, Zatch Bell, Dr. Slump, Dragon Ball Z (even though I watched the anime years ago), Crimson Hero and Boys over Flowers. That’s just the ones I can remember off the top of my head. :)

I have read so many. Working on the Fruits Basket series and the Rurouni Kenshin series at the moment. THey are wonderful!

i got into it..but then i fell out of it. i want to be able to go to animazement next year knowing half the anime/manga stuff there.

I started reading manga a few years ago. I was really into it for a while. Started to get out of reading it and now I am back in the game. Right now i am reading. Fairy tail, Pumpkin scissors, One piece, Shugo Chara and Tsubasa.

i loved reading all the mangas i bought. now i’m getting out of manga, wanting to pursue more of my life in the ‘real world’, but when i was into manga i enjoyed it. if you love reading it, read it!

Manga I want to read:
Death Note (haven’t Started)
Kitchen Princess (Only volume 1)
Naruto (1-3 so far.)

I finally got around to reading more. I have gotten farther in the series Ranma 1/2 as well as FullMetal Alchemist. Whooooo!!! I am currently on volume 25 of Ranma and volume 12 of FMA. ^_

Hello, I have seen anime movies like Howl’s Moving Castle and Castle in the Sky and love them! But now I’d like to read manga too. I read my friend’s copy of Fruit’s Basket, and liked the form of the manga, but thought the story was a little too…girly…. for what I like to read. I don’t want to use the word girly… what I didn’t like about it was the fact that the people changed into animals of the zodiac when they hugged someone…. seemed too (simple?)... too reminiscent of Pokemon (I’m sorry if someone is a fan)

I noticed someone who had commented previously is reading “The Ring”. I’ve seen the movie and it was alright, but maybe a little scarier than what I like to read for books (If I’m completely off the mark, please let me know).

For a newbie to the world of manga, can anyone reccomend something between these two? Basically what I’m looking for is something with a little depth but that I can still get through. As much as I search, I can’t find anything to read.
