ride a ferry

We took the ferry over to Bainbridge Island, walked around, had pizza and fudge, and came back. Beautiful day, excellent company, and just what I needed in that moment.

I’ll be doing this with a good friend this weekend… I’m excited. :)

from CATAWBA TO put-in-bay…i love ferry rides. Not sure why, i suppose it’s just such a pretty ride, and the size of the ferry makes it slow and smooth.

A summertime ride at night coming into Seattle – city lights, water, cool breeze of the moving ferry – is so nice.

I love taking a ferry ride on a sunny (or overcast;-) day!

Ok, So I have also been on ones in Lake Erie, the Chesapeake and in California. I heart ferrys

I have already done this, but I must copy off of my sisters, and add this. Yes Anderson Ferry is awesome!

i grew up right near where the anderson ferry crosses the ohio river into kentucky. i remember early mornings as a little girl when mom got my brother and i out of bed before the sun came up and we’d crawl into the backseat [ still in our footed sleepers ], drive down the hill, cross the river on the ferry, and then up a road that winds up an steep hill to the airport, where we’d pick up my dad from his return flight from a business trip.
