... that my cousin Steve is planning on having a mechanical bull at his wedding reception in June. I’m trying scary things like taking riding lessons so that when the time comes, I won’t back out. If that fails, I’m pretty sure that the open bar will help.

koenyn goals can be achieved, I think
How I did it: I was busy during the day helping people carry stuff and was really tired, but had picked up my camera to take photos. when I got to where the bull was there was a guy I know, so I asked him to hold my camera while I rode. Hold on tight they say, but I think I could have stayed on the whole day if I really tried! Read how I did it…
How I did it: They had a bull in a bar. I had a couple of drinks and climbed on. I was wearing sneakers, which helped a a little (pointy toed cowboy boots would have made it impossible to use my feet for traction). I did it right proper - borrowed my sister's hat and rode with one hand up. Read how I did it…
How I did it: didn't want to look like a fool, but i did! but that's ok, just jump on, and ride. have fun, swing your arms and brace yourself for the fall. lol. ITS GREAT!!!!!!! Read how I did it…

How I did it: My sister-in-law told me that one of the local bars was hosting a Bull on my 31st birthday. It seemed like a great way to say goodbye to 30. If this is something you want to do check with local country bars first. (I don't listen to country but this was something I was willing to deal with) Bulls can rotate from bar to bar. The one I went to hosts on the last Friday of each month. The bull was part of a promo so I was given a free cow gir… Read how I did it…
How I did it: There is just something sexy about riding a mechanical bull, probably from the whole Urban Cowboy thing. Achieving this goal was not a planned event, it was more the result of way too much Tequila at a local bar. With my liquid courage I put my name on the list to ride. They started out really slow, just enough time for me to get way to confident. I let my left hand go from its tight grip on the saddles rope as they turned up the speed. I… Read how I did it…

I know this is a silly goal, but every year my church gets one for spring celebration and for easter, and every year I’m so busy that by time i’m able to go ride the silly thing they are busy packing up. So this year for spring celebration, i’m doing it. I’ll just dissapear for a few minutes, and everyone will be “Where’d Ant go?” and when I get back I’ll be all “I was here the whole time? What? Its not like I went to go ride the mechanical bull! ;)”
seem this in movies, seen this in bars, always wanted to try it, and now i can say that i have. we had our relay for life event and one of the tents had a mechanical bull. you know that i did this!!!!! it was great. but i paid for it the next day, the inside of my legs were bruised and sore, and i had bruises on my arm from holding the rope. but it was worth it, and i’d do it again. so glad that i can at least i experienced this.
im really going to do for my birthday which is on september, but i cant find a place in nj..

I’ve never thought about doing this, but as I was walking through one of the dining halls on campus with my sister there was one all set up. We each tried it and learned a valuable lesson: do not try to do this if you are wearing sweats/gym pants. It is extremely hard to hold on in those fabrics. It was still fun!

Well, it’s a lot harder than it looks. I did a humiliatingly bad job of it. Zero muscle tone.

well, i’m still considered a minor, so i think it’ll be a while until i have my wild bull-riding experience!
sure as hell looking forward to it :)
I lasted less than 10 seconds and came away with purple bruises on my knees, but it was totally worth it.

move your feet or lose your seat!
seriously its all in the feet. keep reaching up and digging in with your heels.
PS same applies to real bulls too only the downs hurt a bit more

it was crazy!! At first the operator made it go really slow and gentle, but then he started making it go fast and rough! I held on for a lot longer than I was expecting. I squeezed it with my legs with all my might. My wrists were a little sore, but it was so much fun!
