Since I added this thing to my list, I’ve been able to complete it almost effortlessly on a daily basis. My elderly neighbor who lives on the third floor recently had knee surgery, so I’ve been retrieving the morning paper for her each day before I leave for work. Well, it seems she saw her know-it-all doctor yesterday, and he gave her the greenlight to go ahead and use the stairs again, so my services are no longer needed. Damn.
