How to design my own dress
It made me
go "YEAHHH!" 
"marvelous and empowering"
How I did it: Alot of people like to design first then choose the fabric, well i use the opposite method. I buy fabric then decide what i will do with it. I hadn't sewn in a while and today i felt like making a dress. So i looked at all my accumulated fabric and took out this silky flowered one and decided id make a strapless funky tiered dress. so i did the top and then did the bottom. sewed it together and voila. I'd love to give you a step by step but i just do it. No patterns, just me and my mannequin.
Lessons & tips: Well i've been sewing for many years and naturally have a talent for it. many seamstresses in my family. BUT everyone gets those moments when you throw that shredded piece of fabric across the room and go "FFFFFFFFFFFFF*********CCCCCCCCC**************!!!!!"
Determination is key and if you get frustrated, walk away and get back to it when your calm and feel like it. NEVER FORCE IT.

-Iron the fabric
-make sure you put in the thread right
-HAVE FUUUUUUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!
