she is so preoccupied…and not really hearing me…
the conversation is shallow and not real... it feels odd.
She has been very distracted… sometimes I just say, “Well…I just wanted to say, ‘Hi and that I love you all’...”
and then we hang up…
it leaves me rather sad.
I’m looking forward to having my family come for graduation and celebrating together~ my cousins are coming too…it will be great fun! I will take pictures…I’m thankful we will all be together for the entire day!

From what I understand it is one of the nicest ones in BG. It was very difficult for me to see her so weak. She is on medications to keep her comfortable. I sat with her Christmas day and painted her fingernails. We watched Lifetime. She can’t really talk much anymore, be we had comfortable silence. I bawled like a baby when I told her goodbye today. It was very difficult.
Phyllis White graduated from high school in 1955 from Hiseville High School.

I guess then, Thanksgiving Eve…
Tonight I had a great time hanging out with my Mom & my sisters…we talked, laughed, and cooked for many hours~ preparing for Thanksgiving meal tomorrow. My sisters told me that my Mom was in a grouchy mood until I arrived and then she seemed very happy! I think it may be because my Mom feels me to be more of her “contemporary” in that we have really grown up together in many ways…I feel thankful today that I was able to be with my Mom…to love her and appreciate her. She is a beautiful woman with a kind heart~ She’s been through a lot in her life…I respect her and feel thankful for all that we have been through together…
:)
happy.

Labor Day weekend I spent three days with my mom. It was so good to see her and Ann again. I don’t realize how much I miss them until I am driving back to the airport crying.
My niece, Christina, and my aunts, Paulette and Oliva, visited with me Saturday at mom’s house.
Mom is very weak since the last stroke. Ann is doing an amazing job taking care of her. Ann has MS and I know it is not easy for her physically.
